The job change is for an employee who resides in a different country than you or an employee who resides in one of the following countries:

Additional approval from local HR/BHR is required. | Submit the appropriate intake form and the HR Service Center will work directly with your local HR/BHR to gain approval. |
| The job change results in a change in job grade, pay, division or job profile for an employee who resides in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico). | Once the job change is initiated by the HR Service Center, the employee must sign a new employee agreement. In their Workday inbox, they will receive a notification to complete the Abbott Employee Agreement. They must complete it within seven calendar days. | Encourage the employee to complete the Abbott Employee Agreement task within seven calendar days of receiving it. |

- Additional approvals will be required if the new base pay exceeds the lower control point of the salary range, and the increase is more than 15%. The HR Service Center will reach out on next steps for these situations.
- Some countries require a new contract to be signed by the employee in Workday for the job change to take effect. The HR Service Center will reach out once the contract has been completed.
How to Know You Are Done
- You will receive a job change confirmation letter in your Workday inbox when all job change tasks are completed.
- If you do not receive the confirmation letter, contact the HR Service Center.
